My name is Eleana Marie and currently I am the Director of Client Services and the Supervisor of our Forensic Nurse Examiner’s program at the Central MN Sexual Assault Center in Central MN.
I am also a part-time Licensed Alcohol and Drug counselor at a residential treatment program employed by Meridian Behavioral Health.

I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2020 with a master’s certificate in Addictions Specialist. Before that, in 2019, I received a Master’s of Science degree in Family, Crisis, Intervention with a perfect 4.0 GPA. I also hold a Bachelors of Elective Studies degree in Liberal Arts with a double minor in Psychology and Women’s studies with that I graduated summa cum laude.
I am a survivor of sex trafficking.

I was trafficked by (then called) one of the, and still may be, biggest prostitution rings in US History. The Evans Family out of Minneapolis MN. My trafficker was a very violent “guerrilla pimp” named Bujie. I was trafficked by him from the age of 13 years old until I testified against him when I was 19 years old. My trafficker received an 85-year sentence in Federal Prison.

I am the author of a trilogy book-set that includes the transition from active exploitation to a life of a survivor and thriver. Book 1 is “A Date with Destiny” book 2 is “Don’t Call Me Destiny, That Is Not My Name.” Book 3 is “You can just call me blessed” and finally the last of my works is a book titled “Before Destiny: There was me”
