Simply copy the text in the steps below and send 15-20 text messages to people you know.  Friends, family, coworkers, employers, church small groups, business associates, networking groups, etc.  Don't be threatened by the $1000, it's a goal and not hard to reach if you follow these steps.  You'll be suprised at how many people will appreciate that you are doing this.

NOTE:  Personal invitations are key.  Mass email or social media invitations are much less effective and should not be counted on.  Also, if someone says they will donate but can't do $100, just tell them that any amount will help and thank them for their generosity.  DO NOT include that language in the initial text; it should only be sent as a response.   Thank you for diligently sending your text messages.

Hi ______,  I hope you are doing well.  I am sending you this text because I am playing in a charity golf tournament for Renew Hope, an anti-sex trafficking non-profit organization helping local survivors build new lives.  Trafficking is such an important issue and it means a lot to me.  My goal is to raise $1000 for this mission.  In order to do that, I only need 10 people to donate $100, and I was hoping you could be one of my 10.  Let me know and I can send you an easy donation link for my team.  Thanks again.

Text Language: Step 2 (after "yes")

That's great.  Thank you so much.

Here is my team link.  Please let me know after you have donated so I can track my progress.  Thanks again for making a difference.

That's amazing!  Thanks again for doing this.  It means a lot.  If you want to know more about Renew Hope, you can check them out at RenewHopeNow.org.  You will receive a receipt for tax purposes.  One more time, Thank You!
